John Keells Holdings is Sri Lanka’s premier conglomerate and the Single largest quoted company in the Colombo Stock Exchange and a benchmark for the Sri Lankan economy. KBSL has been the preferred Systems Integration partner for JKH for not being a subsidiary but the skill and expertise KBSL possess in the process.

JKH (John Keells Holdings) went in for mySAP in 2004 and KBSL was awarded the design, implementation and maintenance of the hosting infrastructure for SAP.

IBM p670 is configured with 16 POWER4+ processors and 48 GB of Memory. This server houses 4 Logical Partitions (LPAR) for SAP R/3, SEM, BIW and SCM. Storage for the LPARs is provided with a NetApp based Fabric Attached Storage. These storage devices are attached to the LPARs via Gigabit Ethernet.

The Development, testing and QA setup is also connected to a NetApp NearStore R200 Device. The data in the NetApp devices are replicated using NetApp's native mechanisms across two locations with Colombo. This ensures the data availability in case of a disaster to the primary site.
