The solution is totally based on VMware Infrastructure 3 Virtualization Technologies along with IBM System X hardware which provides optimal virtualization platforms that are better balanced for virtual workloads. LOLC group is the 1st to implement an enterprise level virtualization solution for x 86 platform in Sri Lanka..

LOIT has already moved their financial ERP and Application Servers in to the virtual environment. In addition to this they will also move about 20 of their existing x86 architecture servers including the email server in to the new environment in the near future.
