This has great implications when you have to integrate the IT infrastructure of two leading banks such as Standard Chartered Bank and ANZ Grindlays Bank when they consolidated their businesses. The two banks had very diverse and complex IT infrastructure with extensive branch network with 12 nodes in total.

This was realized by a seamless network that was put in place with a singular network infrastructure to cater to the current and growing needs of Standard Chartered Grindlays Bank for their Data, Voice, Security and Disaster recovery requirements, end-to-end. This has enabled SCGB to reap the benefits of a consolidated network for the multitude of requirements with a lower total cost of ownership as well as total cost of operations.

This solution was based on CISCO, IBM, NORD-X CDT using technologies such as DLSw, VoIP as well as Gigabit Ethernet across their network.
