NSB were operating with distributed servers in there branches. They experience following impact by this operations;

• Very high Maintenance cost
• It operational issues like Maintaining backup from each branch.
• High overhead cost

By understanding the above pain points, KBSL IT has proposed the following solution which we successfully implemented.

Proposed / implemented solution was build with IBM Power systems serves with AIX Operating System and using IBM Micro partitioning Technology.

With this operation we have installed 60 to 70 Brach Application servers, in two Servers located in the IT Data Center at Head Office, Colombo 3
This is the First such implementation on IBM AIX servers in Sri Lanka.
